We went for Sunday lunch. 3 adults and 2 large dogs. I rang in advance to check they were dog friendly (as we were visiting from Derbyshire) and they said they were and reserved a table in their conservatory. When we arrived our dogs were bigger than they expected so they seated us in a lovely snug. Our food was superb (2 of us had Sunday lunch and 1 a burger meal and 2 had apple pie and custard.) I asked if they could do us a sausage each for our dogs so they could have some lunch too and it was no trouble at all. We were charged £1/sausage which i thought was very reasonable. We were even asked if we wanted the sausages hot or cold. I opted for cold. The staff even served the dogs sausage cut up in a dog bowl each. The staff were amazingly dog friendly and made a super fuss of our dogs. We were not neglected either. We would highly recommend this venue for other dog owners especially, or just people who like good food in a lovely environment. The venue was very clean, homely with lovely decor and very friendly. We'll definitely return. To all the staff, thankyou for making us so welcome.

We have just been to the Abbey Arms for a meal, 5 adults and 2 children, and the food was fantastic. This is the second time we have been here recently and both times the food was great, the service was fab with helpful and really friendly staff and the pub itself is lovely. I definitely recommend it and will be back soon.

Popped in today for lunch. I have driven past The Vale Royal Abbey Arms so many times in the past, something I now regret. Excellent meal, efficient and friendly staff and I would certainly recommend this lovely pub to anyone interested.
