I don't often have coffee out but I really wanted one so I gave this place a try and was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent location, lovely staff and good coffee. What more could I ask.. Recommended.
I went here for the first time yesterday with a friend. It's a small cafe but has everything you could want. There's a range of drinks (hot and cold) and snacks. For a park cafe, it does what it needs to. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The decor inside is lovely, and the napkins / sugar / sweeteners etc. are easily found in the main indoor seating part. The cafe is just to the right of the entrance, but is right next to the tram tracks, so if you're sitting outside it will be noisy just when they go by. Staff were friendly.
I had a pot of tea (£1.50) and it was very nice, and well worth the price. I had two cups, but still had plenty left over, so you could easily get 4 cups out of the pot. Would definitely go again in future.
Very quaint and pleasant cafe on the edge of the Arboretum. Full of character and some nice options to nibble on before a stroll round. Drinks refreshing, food flavourful and cake delicious! Staff friendly and helpful, four legged friends welcome too.
An excellent cook and assistant work there. Their services and products are of very high quality.
Seriously nice place
Small but in the better weather can eat outside
Bought a sausage roll, bottle of coke and a biskoff cake, whole thing If I remember was £7.50 pretty decent tbh.
Hopefully 1 day I'll sample a roast beef dinner on a Sunday but have been told its dependent upon who is working .
Would've sent pictures of my meal but was too busy eating it.
