Since the new owners have taken over a few weeks ago, it's a totally different place. It is like it used to be years ago. The quality of the food is a massive improvement. Plus the staff are actually happy to see you and will have a laugh and joke with you. A pleasure to visit and will definitely do so again soon!

I rarely buy takeaway because I’m ALWAYS disappointed. I’ve got caught up tonight and the family has decided on a chippy. We live in Hucknall and over the last 10 years have slowly decided not to return to any of them. Tonight we went to Phil’s and for me to review it’s got to be good! I’ve written 2 reviews in my life. Everything was delicious. Pricing was fair. Food cooked to order as advertised and lovely service. We’re all full and everything has been eaten. This is a new business and deserves our local support.

Not only are the chips great chip shop chips. The family that own this shop are so lovely and their customer service is so kind. It's always a pleasure to go in here and speak with them. We have lived in the area for just over a year now and every time we visit it has been pleasant. They have also recently had a makeover which makes the place a lot more presentable too.
