We dropped into Le Mistral in Sherwood whilst visiting my Parents (who eat there fairly often). A lovely cozy little place considering its built into a standard shop on the highstreet, with a french theme. Even though it was midweek the place was packed full so is obviously a hit with the locals. The menu is typically french (or how the british see french cuisiine) at least and there is plenty to choose from. We all ordered something different; pork normande, beef bouruignon, chicken and chorizo linguine and chicken supreme...and to my delight my party were all sharers and easily full so i got to try them all. The quantity is plentiful and the quality of all the dishes superb.Its an absolute little gem of a restaurant and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this restaurtant to anyone.
