We went to the restaurant (didn't stay in the hotel).
The food was beautiful and the service, outstanding!
Dog friendly so we could take our mastiff and he was treated do well. Doggy sausage for dinner, a fresh bowl of water and treats for being a good lad.
I highly recommend whether you have a dog or not.
It was lovely to look out across the pub garden to the sea views.
Lots of parking too.
10 out of 10 and thank you xxx
We booked a last minute overnight stay here as a trial one with our two dogs for a little early birthday treat. Well we were not disappointed. A brilliant location right next to the beach access. We had Sunday dinner on arrival and the food was delicious and plentiful. We had a king size room and were really pleased with the vast size of the room which also had a large bathroom. The room came with great wardrobe space plus plenty of additional storage at the bedside. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits are all complimentary in the room as well as bottled water.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful and great with our dogs.
We will definitely be returning.
Our visit to have lunch was a delightful experience overall. The location is charming, and we were promptly seated by the window upon arrival. The waitress kindly brought us chilled bottle of tap water, which was a thoughtful gesture.
We all opted for baguettes, and they were scrumptious with generous fillings. Each baguette was accompanied by crisps, coleslaw, and salad. However, the salads were a bit inconsistent; one lacked cucumber and the other lacked tomatoes, but we managed by sharing around.
The only downside was the extra chips we ordered. They were not very fresh - they were lukewarm and slightly tough. At £4 per portion, they were overpriced for the quality.
Nevertheless, the service was good, and we enjoyed our time at The Ship Inn. With a slight improvement in the chip quality, this would be a perfect spot for a meal in Mundesley.
