I've known about jakey the bakey for a while now and they never fail to impress. The tasting menu at the Robin Hood in tring they had a while ago was just stunning. Authentic French food cooked beautifully and with quick and friendly service. Maddy's madeleines are always perfect, have wonderful flavours and there's always a huge variety of dishes to choose from. I've also been at large events catered by JtB and everyone was loving it! Always excited when they're back in town!!!

We commissioned Jakey The Bakey to do our wedding cake and were beyond thrilled with the result. My son loves Paw Patrol so as a nod to this - so that he would feel included in the day- Maddy cleverly included some of the characters within the design of the cake. However, she still managed to keep the end result super sophisticated and classy. The cake tasted as good as it looked and was truly delicious - as well as being so personalised just for us and our event. Throughout the process they were highly professional and we had no worries or concerns at any point. I felt confident leaving it in their hands after an initial consultation and couldn’t recommend them more.

Stumbled across this incredible eatery on a day trip to Norwich. Have to say Jake was very friendly and accommodating and his beef bouiginion was to die for, delicious and melt in the mouth. Will definitely visit again when in Norwich.
