This weekend I was in the lovely city of Norwich visiting family, and on Sunday we went into the city center for a wander and some lunch. After talking to my manager at work about my planned weekend in Norwich with family, she told me about a magical Waffle House that I should visit… And boy did it not disappoint!
I was completely overwhelmed with the menu choices, but two that really caught my eye included Indian inspired waffle “Potato, Cauliflower, Spinach & Puy Lentil Dhal” and “Authentic Greek Salad” (which my sister ended up getting). however after much deliberation I chose the hummus and avocado waffle, with a garlic butter, cheese and rosemary “side” dish.
I visited the Waffle House Norwich with my family on a Sunday afternoon and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is cozy and charming, with a friendly and attentive staff. The menu offers a variety of waffles, both sweet and savory, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. We ordered the cheese and mushroom waffle, the bacon and banana waffle, and the chocolate and cream waffle. They were all delicious, fresh, and filling. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We also enjoyed the coffee, which was vegan and smooth. The Waffle House Norwich is a great place to enjoy a tasty and satisfying meal with your loved ones. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back again.
I think this is one of the perfect places to have breakfast in Norwich. The like how they combine a waffle with everything, and all of them taste a lot better than I expected. Do not judge the portion from the photos, they are bigger than you think. I also ordered the honeycomb smoothie. I was too sweet for me but it is good though.
