Seeing a greggs on a highstreet is always a welcome sight, but the sight of this particular greggs on the edge of an industrial estate was like a beacon of hope. After having driven aimlessly around the estate after losing phone signal trying to find a hardware store we suddenly saw the wonderful sight of a greggs we swung into the carpark and were welcomed with the smell of warm sausage rolls, we thought disaster had struck when the cabinet was barren of sausage rolls, fortunately the friendly staff informed us of the wait time for a hot fresh delight we sat and waited and were even called up when our order was ready. We were highly impressed with the whole experience.
Greggs is always a winner, however, the queue was out the door (it was lunchtime and a busy industrial estate) so we went to Costa next door for lunch. A poor choice on our part. The sausage bap from Costa was shocking when compared with Greggs, dry, crusty, but not in a good way, and generally disappointing. Go to greggs for food, then nip next door to Costa for coffee.
The Greggs here serves the Brackmills industrial estate. Staff at this branch are friendly.
You should probably avoid lunchtime as the masses that work on the estate convene at the same time which means long queues and food that finishes.
Best to go just before 12 noon or at about 1pm to avoid rush.
Parking can be a nightmare here during the lunchtime rush. If you can walk here walk. Else you should be ok to park with ease either side of the lunch hour.
