Never had the roast,as only popped in for a few drinks, but looked good and everyone we spoke to said it was good. This a great community pub with a real friendly atmosphere and fire . Will definitely be our local now .
We, as a group of friends, visit the Highweek Inn when it's one of our birthdays. Polly looks after us so well, always a warm welcome, happy to help staff, and understanding too....
This is a jolly village pub with posh Burt's crisps, a decent selection of drinks and lovely helpful staff.
There is an open fire, and a pool table, plus plentiful parking on a hill... Make sure you have a good handbrake!
The food is well priced and wholesome, with excellent portion sizes. They do specials too. I highly recommend the lasagne. Not too greasy and not drowning in cheese.
There's some outside seating in the summer, but this is often frequented by smokers.
