It's just such a gorgeous area, it tends to be a little quiet because it's off the main road, and late at night it's really hard to find your way there from the road or car park, for low vision like me impossible to see at all. Keep this in mind if you're visiting for a late dinner because there's no street lamps in the park.
Absolutely gorgeous spot to sit out in summer, staff are friendly and the food is lovely. Definitely the best Sambucas I've visited so far.
Chairs were children outside on patio, plastic and uncomfortable this rectifyed when staff were notified by myself and friend having lunch, a very delightfull place, have been here several times and always a nice place and polite staff. A littled baffled when requesting Garlic Bread (not in the Peter Kaye way) The waitress said there may be await for this as kitchen is busy well restaurants are but a basic staple does not demand culinary genius. But whole enjoyable experience and nice park to walk off lunch
I've been to other Sambucas, but this was the first visit here, and we were not disappointed. Very friendly staff in a lovely, small but adequate restaurant. The food was delicious, I had the spicy beef risotto, which was just perfect. My son had the chicken risotto, his partner had a chicken pasta dish, both of which were also perfect. All in all, it was a lovely meal, we will definitely go back.
