Everytime we visit Newcastle, I call to the Black Garter. The beer is always fresh and really reasonably priced. The bar is full of old regulars who will always chat with you. I've never had any bother from anyone there, very much the opposite.
My Fiancé left me there yesterday(in what she calls the man crèche!) whilst she shopped. I sat outside with my cool pint of Stones, under the umbrella shaded from the sun. I love sitting there watching the world go by.
The waitress asked if I'd like anything from the bar to save me losing my seat. I had 4 pints before my Fiancé returned. Great craik with the locals, great beer, all in all, a great watering hole!
I came from Japan and visited here 3 times during my staying in Newcastle. The quality of beers are so great, the staffs are really kind and friendly. You can watch football matches and horse races and also, you could enjoy Karaoke here.
I really love this place and, if I stay in Newcastle again, I would visit here. Thank you so much for giving me some great memories.
