Best place in Newcastle in my opinion for a bottomless brunch, we have been a number of times now with different sized party group and it has been amazing keep doing what your doing guys ✨️ thank you we will be sure to be back soon, 5 gold stars 🌟 🤩
Had breakfast outside here on a sunny day in the toon. It was a sunny Saturday and lots of groups out on birthdays/stags/hens and like us, going to the rugby league magic weekend. The atmosphere was great and no trouble seen at all. Standard price for central Newcastle but the food was great. We ordered to our table via the QR code and the service was really quick. We stayed a couple of hours enjoying drinks in the sun and we were never pressured to move on but there always seemed space for newcomers arriving. The inside had a great decor too.
Really friendly staff working hard too.
Popped in here for a quick lunch last Saturday as hadn’t booked anywhere and were pleasantly surprised that they could fit us in. Really quite big inside which you don’t realise from outside. Good atmosphere, good tunes and fab food. Can’t beat a decent club sandwich and that’s exactly what I got! Filled to the brim and served with fries, very tasty indeed. We will be back on our next visit to Newcastle 👍
Booked for bottomless brunch here and we were told we were the first to try the new menu which we must say we were very impressed with l!
I had the breakfast hash which was delicious, especially washed down with a poached pear spritz or seven 😜
The drinks selection was very good with plenty of choice to suit all different tastes
Service was impeccable, Austin our waiter kept us topped up with prosecco whilst regularly talking orders for cocktails and other drinks
I would highly recommend booking here for bottomless brunch!
Make sure you ask for Austin 👍
Greeted by friendly polite staff. It was quite busy this time, maybe because it was restaurant week.still managed to get table though. Had a lovely 3 course meal, crispy kingprawn rolls, filled by firecracker chicken salad and I just managed to squeeze in ice cream, I did have diet pepsi though😋
It was clean and tidy. The toilets are upstairs so is the accessible toilet but it does have a lift.
Monument metro is the closet but you can also get local bus service which is also close.
Lovely food, great prices, atmosphere was also good
Would I come again, yeah as I have visited a few times now and have already recommended to my friends and family
🙂X
Very nice & clean place. Friendly & attentive staff. Making o feel welcome from door to ur seat. Indoor n outdoor seating. Simply love the atmosphere. Enjoyed my delicious food. Even through they were busy but it shows how much people trust them for good food. Keep up the good work team Banyan. Even it’s bit overprice for such small portion but this thing not going to stop me to come back here again 😊
Spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered even though I’m not used to this less spicy food. The staff gave me extra chilli sauce to make it my style. Keep up the good work team banyan. Will come again. But felt little overpriced for such small amount. Overall 5/5 really enjoyed.
Went on Sunday 26th June for a couple of drinks. Then came back after reading the menu for Lunch.
Staff were excellent. Quickly shown our seats by the girl at front of house.
Waitress came over quickly and got our drinks order. Then gave us 5 mins to look at the menu.
My wife had the Greenhouse Burger. I had the Korean Fried Chicken Burger. Both were excellent. Wife mentioned of all the plant based burgers she's had this one was the best.
Beating the Snowy Owl in Cramlington.
Edit 13th August.
Back again. And tried something different. The food here is simply outstanding. Ordered using the tables QR code. Food came quickly and WIfe and I had the Onion Bhaji wrap. Chips (Fries if your American) that were perfect. Daughter had the Chicken Kabab wrap. The Fusion of food is simply lip smacking. Banyans is becoming my go to place to eat in Newcastle.
Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Asked for extra sauces and they went above and beyond to get us what we asked for. The food was gorgeous we ordered burgers with Mac and cheese side and the cocktails are very delicious too!
Visited with a friend after making a booking a few days earlier. It has a variety of cuisines on the menu so it’s a good place to visit if you aren’t sure what you’re craving.
I went for a Thai curry and my friend had schnitzel, she was happy with her dish but mine did not taste authentic. The cocktails were nice we ordered quite a few to make the most of happy hour.
Unfortunately this restaurant has lost a star due to having to go looking for the waiter to pay our bill. Be careful if seated on the balcony in the corner, there no easy way to make eye contact with anyone if you need the waiter.
