There's no better place. Be as snobby as you like about the Hilton and the Waldorf but I've been everywhere and no place holds a candle to Oscars. It's not the great food, the generous portions or the great decor that give this place it's charm, it's the staff and in particular the Manager. Have you ever been to a place where the Head Cook and Manager has time to meet you on a personal level, where you feel like a welcome member of a family rather than another paying customer? Have you ever known a place where all the customers speak to one another and meet each other as equals despite their socioeconomic standing? Oscars does all of this and more. While dining alone you're never alone, so I love it. While dinning with my Wife you're always a part of a bigger group and the Manager remembers you, so again I love it. Finally while dining with my family they remember the smallest details about your conversations and they are all so delightful, so yet again I love it! There are entertainment nights, a generous menu and a beautiful clean establishment to boast about but many places can make that claim. Oscars however is only place I've been other than Little Swallows in Tao Yen Je where they feed your belly with food, your senses with great music and scenery and your heart with friendly warm people who meet one another as equals, where the Manager has time for everyone and everyone leaves feeling like the world isn't such a bad place after all. You are all amazing and long may your business continue to thrive.

A fab night with great food.....Very good value and service was great.....Loads of memorabilia to look at!!!! Restaurant owner chatted to us too.....Would definitely recommend for a lovely evening out.....They also do tribute band nights too with a two course meal for £20!!!! Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!!!
