We were welcomed by the owner, who recognised me, we having been previously. The menu is very comprehensive with a selection of Nepalese and Indian food. The order was taken quickly and the food arrived within a reasonable time. We chose reasonably spicy starters which were hot and tasty. Again we chose spicy main courses, which were well cooked and also spicy. All I can say is the Royal Ghurka is well worth a visit if you want authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine.
Been here 3 or 4 times. The £10 starter, main, side and rice/nan deal on Sundays and Thursday is very decent. The portions aren't huge, but are decent enough for sure. The food is well cooked and I cannot recommend the Gurkali Lamb, Gurkali Rice and Gurkali Aloo enough. My first try of Nepalese food and I was very pleased. I will go back their regularly and will recommend to my friends. I have already introduced 5 of my friends to the place.
Oh and the beer there is decent too.

A very good Nepalese restaurant that deserves to get more custom than it does. Some interesting Nepali signature dishes that are well worth trying and friendly efficient service. Try it out people of New Malden you won't be disappointed.
