Between us we had two different cheese cakes, a Bakewell tart, a homity pie, a baguette and salads. It’s a takeout only currently. The food was really well presented and there was a staggering amount of choice in terms of bakery and hot meals. The staff were friendly and the place was absolutely heaving, which is always a good sign. One of the key things is that the prices were extremely reasonable. A very fancy looking slice of cheesecake was only £2.50, a box of fresh salad £5.50, and even a hot meal for less than £6. I even liked that they used plain, recyclable paper packaging and wooden cutlery. It’s amazing that so many companies can’t move away from plastic yet a fairly priced bakery has nailed it without having to go upmarket and catering for those without need for a budget. I would frequent this place again and again because it was affordable, tasty and there was enough range to satisfy the whole family.
The only criticism I have is that I can’t stand seeing people take money then immediately touch your food. Paper wraps to hold the baguettes or a quick hand wash would have been appreciated.

Spoilt for choice! It took ages to decide what I actually wanted, but they're obviously used to that. I asked what each cake was and finally decided on lemon cheesecake, white chocolate topped flapjack and a brownie with everything on it, so much choice. The cheesecake was the lightest I've ever had. So good, do not pass by, go in and just bask. FAB.
