Lovely little restaurant to try our first attempt at Thai Food. The restaurant offers a Thai Tapas, which is great if your a first timer or don't want a lot to eat. We ordered a few dishes as a starter from the tapas menu and they were delicious! We ordered the obvious things like a prawn toast (not highly authentic Thai so I am told but delicious all the same). I then had the Thai Red Curry, which was delicious and very tasty. My partner had a duck dish, that he said was amazing! All the dishes came beautifully presented and piping hot! The service could be a little better is I can be niggly. We went on a Friday night and although the service was swift and attentive the staff could be a bit more polite. They also had a big table of teenagers in, who were quite loud and boystrous as well as knocking us and the table when they all swarmed around the till - that was a little bit of a downside to the meal!
Aroi Thai Nantwich. Our first time at Aroi Thai. A quie,t early Sunday evening: service a bit slow but very polite.
Filo prawn and chicken coconut soup starters were great. Followed by Thai chicken curry and spicy beef with spring onions and celery and one portion of coconut rice. W wanted 2 portions of rice, 1 was good enough. House Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent.
We will return for more.
We stopped by for an impromptu dinner and we're very glad we did. The food was outstanding and served very promptly. We had 5 tapas dishes between 2 of us, but probably 4 between the two of us would have been sufficient.
