Absolutely fantastic experience! Arrived in town last minute, & staff & managers made us feel welcome & at ease while a suitable table was arranged. Once seated (and before for that matter) our server was wonderful with information about the dishes, & suggestions when asked.
The suggestions were on point, the haggis cigars & Stornoway black pudding (which arrived just a short time after ordering) were delicious & matched perfectly with our mains, the Sea Bass Fillet & Chicken Balmoral. Afterwards we split one of Ann's meringues for desert, & topped it off with some speciality gin's, all of which were out of this world!
The meringue was the perfect size for sharing <3 Coming from Australia I was unaware that gins were anything other than alcohol that gets mixed with tonic or ginger ale, the 2 page menu describing suggested accompaniments confused me at first, but I'm thankful I tried one, new experience that opened up a whole new world =)
Went tonight for the first time 3 adults and two kids. We couldn't fault the place. Food was outstanding and the service was fantastic. Would recommend this place to anyone. Keep doing what your doing as it's clearly working.
Go most Saturday's food and staff are always first class would definitely recommend
