We had a lovely lunch here.
Inside the cafe was full, so we sat outside and ordered our food at the counter.
The food was made and served quickly considering how busy the cafe was.
We both commented how delicious it was.
We ordered a breakfast complete with toast and a drink, and a ciabatta off the specials board with olives, mushrooms and courgette, and a fresh orange juice.
It was very good value...around £18 for the 2 meals and 2 drinks.
There are many vegetarian choices
The only downside is that the toilets are upstairs and rather small...it's a bit of a squeeze getting into the cubicles.
Definitely worth a visit and there are lovely views over the bay and the Eric Morecambe statue 🙂
Accidentally found ourselves here last Sunday, seeking a mid afternoon late lunch, preferably a toasted sandwich and coffee. Morecambe lacks cafes that have kitchens open after 3pm or that are open in the afternoons too - thankfully Lewis's is somewhere that is open and serving, and serves delicious toasted sandwiches and also great coffees. We took an empty table but soon realised that we were next to the ice cream serving area, so we spent most of our lunch surrounded by strangers watching us eat and listening to our conversation so next time we will choose our table more wisely. Other than that, the service was great, good views across to Eric Morecambe statue and lovely food - toasted sandwiches were served with a side of homemade coleslaw and salad. I think we will be back.
Had our second visit to this lovely cafe today, food was incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced. Even though it was very busy the wait time was minimal & the staff were super friendly and attentive. Also love that they're dog friendly and even have a small doggy menu. This will be our new favourite spot now after a walk along the prom. Thanks guys! See you soon - Alana.
