Stunning view with food to match. We'd heard rumblings of an exciting new place to eat in Morecambe so after putting it off for months we eventually got around to booking a table.
The restaurant has been done really nice, love the lights and big lamp shades but the view is as stunning as they claim. Overlooking the water with the Lakedistrict mountains in the background, watching the sun set turning the sky purples and organe in colour is just awe inspiring, it is the best sunset weve ever seen.
Now the food, we ordered shrimps and Carpaccio to start and both were scrumptious then had a Rump steak and the lamb to follow. The dishes looked perfect, like an artist had been at work and both dishes were cooked to perfection, the lamb just falling from the bone.
Feeling a little full we took a break and enjoyed a cocktail whilst we took in the last of the sunset before indulging in dessert.
Given the quality of the place, the excellent food, great service and to top it off the best view of any restaurant we've ever been to, i'd say this is by far one of the best restaurants in the UK. It's a hidden gem and long may it continue that way.
We really enjoyed our 1st visit for afternoon tea. Wonderful selection of sandwich fillings with sausage roll and quiche to satisfy hungry appetites! Excellent variety of desserts and fresh scones. Attentive staff kept the tea flowing! Great views of the bay. Couldn't fault it. We'll be back!
Wow went here for our wedding anniversary with friends and the food was amazing!!! We all had 3 courses and each one was truly good food. Wish I'd taken pictures of the food but was too busy enjoying it!
