This is my local Chinese restaurant but we had never tried it before- we were pleasantly surprised. The service was super quick the owners were so nice and friendly and the food was so so good. It definitely rivals more expensive, high end restaurants I've been to. The presentation of the food was lovely and we had a few special requests as we were eating out with our toddler but nothing was too mush hassle. NB no high chairs available - just beware.

A really hidden gem in Mitcham.
I am ashamed to say I have never put a google review for the bamboo house up. But that’s probably because I have been going long before there was even an internet, so never thought to do it. We have celebrated so many occasions with you, and without fail have had the best meals, with the most friendly service. I am gutted you guys are closing.
