We visited The Tyn y Capel for the first time on Sunday since being taken over. The venue has had a face lift and very tastefully decorated. We chose to eat upstairs. We decided to sample the Sunday roast and BOY we were not disappointed. From start to finish the food was well presented...HOT....delicious and plentiful. The staff were lovely and attentive and the prices very very competitive with other top restaurants in Wrexham. The Sunday roast was a blooming bargain at £14.95 for 3 courses. We loved one of the starters so much (home made pate) we asked if we could purchase some to take home. Not a problem....4 lovely portions bought and a bargain price. It is so lovely to see this venue serving top notch food and it is certainly on my favourite list. We highly recommend The Tyn y Capel if you like good home cooked food at reasonable prices and staff that treat you well. Thanks to the staff at our visit and the chef for producing such wonderful home cooked food. Really looking forward to our next visit.

Popped in for lunch, lovely pub with friendly staff. Food was superb, had the fish 'n' chips and the lasagne, both were really lovely. Definately recommend this to anyone.
