I'm spending my day here to have a job in the city. I was directed to this place by a lovely lady on the street and I chose to believe her . The atmosphere is unique and calm. The building is huge and instead of London main city they have rooms as well. The place is really clean and sorted. The food what I ordered was fine and the selection of drinks are really inspiring to have a curved night out in this place. Prices are similar to London but the city and the harbour given wind put some extra in to the experience.
Our recent visit to this establishment was truly enjoyable. We indulged in a variety of items, with the pizza being a definite highlight. The flavors were exceptional, and it was evident that the kitchen took great care in preparing our meal.
However, even in the best of dining experiences, there can be a small hiccup. In this case, one of the drinks we ordered didn't quite meet our expectations. We decided to bring this to the attention of the manager, and what a pleasant surprise it was! Without hesitation and without any probing questions, the manager promptly replaced the drink. This level of attentiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out.
It's not every day that you encounter such exceptional service. The ability to swiftly address a customer's concern without any fuss is a testament to the professionalism and dedication of the staff. In our book, that's worthy of a solid 5-star rating. We've enjoyed our experience here immensely, and we'll certainly be returning for more delicious food and top-notch service in the future. Five stars, no doubt!
This was my first visit to Minehead. We'd decided to meet up with family, and The Duke of Wellington was the only place that could accommodate. It looked like a lovely area, not far from the sea.
There were 9 of us altogether (6 adults and 3 children). We fit around 2 tables put together as the tables are quite large. Ad we arrived on a bank holiday tea time, we expected the place to be packed. It is a large place and, while some areas were busier than others, we found plenty of space. The tables were all clean, and there was plenty of room to move around.
The drinks were cheap (my husband said it was less than £10 for 2 cokes and 2 pints of cider).
I ordered everything else on the app. I'd never used it before but found it really good. There were a couple of things we couldn't do on there such as ask for lettuce on a kid's burger or order milk on its own (you can get it with a kid's meal). However, we asked the server to bring some lettuce, which she did. The children chose a different drink, but I'm sure we could have asked about milk if they'd insisted.
The service was excellent. It didn't take too long for the food to arrive once it had been ordered. The children's meals were brought out first. Everything was absolutely perfect with the order.
The meals were a decent size, and everyone enjoyed them. I had the cauliflower and spinach curry, which was lovely. It came with rice, poppadoms, and naan bread. It was delicious.
Some of us had dessert. I had chocolate cookie dough with ice-cream and toffee sauce. My step-daughter had the same. We both found it quite sickly but in the most very delicious way!
We paid around £120 for 9 meals, 7 desserts, and a couple of drinks each.
Service was brilliant.
Accessibility - there are some steps to the door we used to come in, but there are other doors that may be more accessible. There are steps and ramps inside.
The ladies' toilets are quite small. There is an accessible toilet. A radar key can be requested from the bar if needed.
