Great location right next to the wharf, and while booking you can request a table with a view of the wharf if you like. The pub gets very busy on weekends, especially if the weather is good, so would definitely recommend reserving a table in advance. We requested a table with a view however it took over an hour for our table to be vacated and be ready for us, in the meantime we were given an alternative table while we waited and had drinks. Our waitress was lovely, even though our table took a while, the food and second round of drinks also took a long time to come, we didn’t mind too much because we were just delighted with her enthusiastic service.
One thing that was disappointing was that they ran out of most of the chef’s specials that we wanted, owing to how busy it was, so we had to choose alternatives. The food however was excellent! Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked and good portion sizes.
I would highly recommend the Beef Croquettes!
The interiors and ambience were vibrant.
This has to be one of the better pubs in MK!
Was absolutely beautiful. Setting, seating and food were divine.
Wait staff were brilliant. It was very relaxed, and there's no rush for anything once food was finished. Had no problem getting attention for more drinks or the bill.
Would go back again.
Only gripe was parking. Drove round and round for a solid 15 minutes. I have no idea if there was an event or just due to the nice weather, but parking was rammed.
Delish mid week meal for a catch up with my friend, great location on the canal lovely restaurant with comfy seating, nice selection of specials I had Duck which was lovely blueberries in the gravy was a nice twist. Puddings was yummy 😋 highly recommend
