Went for the Deaf Havana gig having never been to MK11 before (but seen the band quite a few times) and it's a great little intimate venue!
There's only space for maybe 150-200 people in the live music venue so you're pretty close to whoever is on stage.
The staff on the door were friendly and welcoming and it was nice and easy to get drinks while inside.
The sound was great too - I'm not too clued up on audio but it sounded fantastic all the way through.
(The air con helped too as otherwise it could've been a lot sweatier!)
There's a fair bit of local parking on the surrounding roads too as it's not too close to the centre, but easy just to pull up and walk round to.
Great venue! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Saw Green Haze and absolutely loved it.
The venue is great and the staff are very helpful. The bar is well stocked and the prices are reasonable.
Highly recommend watching a band or just going for some food and a drink.
MK11 hosted the SeedTalks that I attended. Which was great. The pub was quirky, welcoming and fun with a range of signage, sports memorabilia, music memorabilia and screens.
There are three main areas. The main bar is the first one you come across when you enter. Off to one side it has it's own small raised stage and projector screens for sports events with lots of bar tables and backed bar stools. Would be a great place to watch sporting events or live music as its really well set up for that.
The second main area is the main ticketed venue which has a raised stage and a projector behind perfect for talks, larger bands and music tours and private events. It has its own separate bar however this was closed during the seed talks. If you have back issues and are using this venue be warned they favour benches instead of backed chairs, which could make things more difficult for some.
There is also a substantial outdoor area with heaps of tables. It would be fantastic during warmer weather. But doesn't have much shade up right now (for either rain or particularly hot days) but does look like parts of it could be covered in warmer months.
They has a great range of alcoholic and soft drinks. They use plastic cups for drinks rather than glass which is possibly safer but definitely not as environmentally friendly.
Hot drinks are not offered at this pub.
All in all it was a solid experience. I'd be interested to return again for more events like this in the future.
