I only arranged to have lunch there as I took a 4 hour journey by train to get to Milford Haven. I was told they are quiet at lunchtimes (which it was) but I wonder what it is like when busy.
The sign outside shows it to be a Speakeasy and everything inside reflects that theme. There is almost constant jazz music and there are loads of posters on the walls of movies from those days.
The view across the harbour from my table was like icing on a cake 🎂 🥮 🍥 🥞.
We love Madisons. We went there on a whim not long after it had opened. We had an unexpected night without the children so with very little notice, we called and they got us booked in. Service was great, as was the food and it’s kept us coming back. We’ve been for meals on our own, as well as with larger groups and functions. The speakeasy, 1920s style is great and it’s a lovely night out.
Me and my fiancé went here for evening cocktails. We sat down quickly by the window overlooking the marina and boats. The service was quick and they served people food quickly which looked nice 🙂
The cocktails were served nicely in lovely glasses and all the glasses were pretty and individual. The set up inside was art deco / American actors and actresses.
A group of people came in with walking clothes and trainers and didn't book a table but were sat in a corner table near us - I think a dress code should be required there as there were people dressed up for meals and drinks and I think to book a table is required too.
