I know alot of people are cinical about strabucks as it is just another big coffee company but i do like it.
This one is fairly spacious and the counter area is huge with displays of all the cakes, muffins and sandwiches on sale.
It is quite expensive but always nice for treat and the choice is out of this world.
They do all different variations of the humble cup of coffee with several blends to choose from too.
My personal favourites are the winter specials including the gingerbread latte which they have just brought back.
Heaven in a mug.
Great coffee, as always. Plenty of choices, not just coffee, there are teas, hot chocolate's and a wide verify of cold drinks too. Hot and cold food with a great selection to choose from. A warm and cosy feel to the place, and clean too.
The service is warm and efficient, the staff are friendly and empathetic towards your general needs as a customer. A good example of this is when the staff took the time to listen to an elderly womens daily activities and then delivered her food and drink to her seat. Saturdays are busy and you must order your coffee with a realistic approach and expect to wait a few minutes for your drink (there's a queue). I was provided with a Starbucks card and informed that I could order and pay for drinks online (a VIP queue skipper) , I find this time effective as I can now skip the queue on my daily commute and pick up my coffee with little or no waiting. Starbucks has a cost effective filter coffee which is priced at £1, it's freshly ground and brewed and is the only coffee shop in middlesbrpugh to offer this quality at an inexpensive price. I would highly recommend Middlesbrough Starbucks.
