Even though I live locally, I have eaten lunch and spent time in the beautiful gardens of the Budock Vean Hotel for the first time yesterday, and I am asking myself why I left it so long. It was a heavenly experience and myself and my husband had the most wonderful time there! First of all the setting is so special and the gardens leading down to the river are very special. I felt like I was entering a very peaceful place and when we came back out into the car park to go back home, it was a feeling of entering a different world again.
We ate lunch, sitting on the terrace in the warm September sun and it was one of the best eating experiences I have had in Cornwall. The cheese souffle melted in the mouth, and the sticky toffee pudding is to die for! On top of such scrummy food, we had such lovely service. What impressed me the most is that the waiters really seem to love their job and they are very natural and genuine. A great find just down the road and we will certainly come back again soon!
Came here for a pamper day for my friends hen party with 12 others. We had a lovely day getting our chosen treatments, i had a manicure, Harriet did a great job. We then had lunch, my crab sandwich was to die for. After that we used the spa facilities like the pool, sauna and jacuzzi, so warm. Staff were lovely and friendly. Beautiful views in the garden. Would recommend Budock Vean.
Beautiful hotel. Spent a few hours with my 9 year old in the pool and hot tub today for a 'spa day' . Staff were very friendly and polite. We had afternoon tea too which was plentiful and fresh. Would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful afternoon and making my daughter feel very special.
