Must be 10-12years since I looked in on this garden centre and after visiting that one time couldn't see myself ever going back, but after today's experience it will be very soon.
What an a awesome Centre it has now become, the plants are all first class, wether it's indoor or outdoor, the prices are what you would expect for top quality swag, all your displays were excellent and just lumped together in a big heap, there was a huge selection of tools, importantly with range of prices to suit everyone and to cap it all an excellent tearoom.
The only downside to my visit was I left my phone in my car,so one picture I took when I got back to my car was a picture of the outside into the sun,I will return soon to take some more pictures.👌
Returned November 2023 , superb,you might need a bigger carpark though.👀❤️
A fantastic visit. Pleasant and with a wide variety of plant, although a few more roses would be good. Included in the centre is an aquatics centre, mainly dealing in Koi, a hi class food shop, a clothing store and a toy shop. The cafe/restaurant is very nice and looks very Mediterranean. The cakes were lovely and there are gluten free options. The only problem that I found was that my iced latte was a bit watery, as was my wife's hot chocolate. The latter may have been due to the oat milk. Overall, while pricey, good quality.
I’ve been visiting the greenhouse cafe for many years now for either breakfast or lunch . I’ve never had a bad experience yet . Staff always friendly. Few staff have worked there along time and always happy to see you and ask how you are which is a lovely touch . Food always served lovely . Portions are large . I love the salads . The pancakes are a hit with me ( maple & bacon ) . I do like my bacon crispy which it usually is . Cakes are tempting although I’ve only ever had tea and cake the once .
