We had our Running groups Christmas meal at the Star. Cannot fault the pub, the staff or the food!!! All excellent and I have to say the food was definitely on a par with that sold at much bigger pubs at a fraction of the price. Huge thanks to Zoe for such excellent service and Janice for giving us a meeting point every Tuesday xxxxx
Amanda Gill and I visited today the once home of the Pogmore's for over a 100 years, Amanda Pogmore, grand daughter of the last Pogmore to live at the Star has come home for a drink and something to eat lol 😁 the food and drink was very nice, served by friendly staff, and eaten in the surroundings of a very impressive beer garden 👍👍👍
Ate here for a Christmas meal with the local runners group. Staff took great care of us, giving us our own room for our festive celebration. The food was lovely and excellent value for money.
