Today i visited Capo Lounge with an old work friend and my 3 yr old son for the first time. Loved it! My son loved it! Great little hidden gem in mansfiekd town centre. I originally come from London and woukd expect this type of place with its decor, cool vibes, menu choices and brilliant staff in covent garden or soho! Credit to you all who work there. Lovely welcome by the young girl behind the bar who told us lots of seating upstairs as downstairs was pretty much full. My son couldnt get over the decor, always something new to explore. Ordered fresh orange juice, pink lemonade, kids chicken lollipop meal deal, sweet pot burger and halloumi/falafal salad. Wish i'd not eaten breakfast! Could finish my portion! My son polished off his meal no probs and he never finished food. Fresh orange juice was delish. My pink lemonade was so fresh and refreshing...fingers crossed they have sherbert in next time as cant wait to try sherbert lemonade. Didnt wait long for food at all. Lovely little area for kids to grab a game or colours. And the bookshelf with books to read was a nice touch too. Would be a great place for a family meal or works do or even a fun venue for a wedding reception. I love it and will def be coming back. Just a shame its not on a groupon offer or tastecard offer or i would be there weekly! 5 stars for sure!
Had an early evening meal here on a moderately busy Saturday with my wife. Great food, really friendly staff and a nice venue to boot. Definitely will return again soon. I absolutely recommend the cheesecake.
Also, the vegan menu was very much appreciated by my wife - so thanks for that!
This place has become our family favourite. It's a lovely relaxing place with a great atmosphere. We dine out as a couple in the eve or bring the kids for tea or call in for coffee after shopping! It doesn't matter because the place caters for it all. Food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Love it. Xx
