best italian food in this city!! the taste is original and delicious
We went this evening, a family of 4. The menu had a varied though not extensive selection and the food was great quality. Ideal for us, I'd much rather a quality meal than too much done poorly. Portions were good too. Wine v. nice. Lovely small independent restaurant we'll be back to soon.
Dropped in here for a bite to eat last night with a few friends. It was amazing. We shared the seafood stuffed tomatoes in bechamel for a starter, which was incredible. Then for a main we had the sea bass risotto, grilled hake, folded hake and sea bazz pizza, and the pasta and mushrooms. It was all incredible! As my friend said, you know it's good when you're not just trying each others' food once but constantly going back! We even went for dessert even though we don't normally go for that and the desserts (italian ice cream, homemade fudge cake, homemade strawberry cheesecake) were just as incredible. We ended up spending just over £20 per person before tip, which for a 2.5 course meal (we shared the starter) of this quality is simply incredible.
I cannot recommend this place enough.
Just what the village needed. Lovely atmosphere ,beautifully prepared food and excellent value. Already visited 3 times and thoroughly enjoyed each time. Specials board ribeye in red wine and salmon with prawns were delicious. Would advise to book as already becoming very popular .
Lovely hideaway place. Friendly service, typically Italian, why rush?. The food speaks for itself and I was pleasantly surprised just how good it was. Recommend the Penne Dishes and meatball starter. Definitely going back..often
