Friendly staff, she taught me how to the eat Koshary as it’s my first time. There a 4 sauces: tomato sauce, fried crispy onion, sour lemon sauce and a chili oil. The food was incredible. The curry chicken with rice taste good too. Great price and portion. Would revisit.
this was such a delicious, filling, affordable meal. i got koshary and ayran for about £5 total and the koshary came in a very generous portion! the chilli oil, lemon juice, and golden fried onion crisp were all separated, as well as the tomato sauce :) this is my first time trying koshary and it did not disappoint! their other items on the menu are affordable too. more people should visit the restaurant. the space is really neat, they place a plastic cover on the table before setting your food down. highly recommend this place
Simply beyond value.
This humble eatery is somewhat towered over by the Curry Miles restaurants, but it has quickly become the only place I think of whenever I stop by the area.
The young chef cares about his customers, takes time to explain the dishes and cooks his food tactfully. For under eight pounds you can treat yourself to a plateful of hotly-served and nourishing okra curry rice.
We tried the omelette, samosa, chicken curry rice and so on, and every dish was a dazzling experience as our taste buds pick up the array of spices and veggies.
If you would like a refreshment to the enticing main courses, please go for the rice pudding (and perhaps not the yogurt drink which was too strong for my taste).
