Lovely little place tucked away at the back on the hatch development. Nice quiet cozy setting and friendly helpful staff. The burger was delicious and arrived promptly.
You know how it is.
It’s evening, you’re set to meet up with mates but feeling a bit peckish. From previous experience you know that once the rounds start coming in, there’s going to be eons before you wake up next morning with the reminder of bad decisions made last night. Thankfully this won’t be one of them.
Hatch is a delightful container themed food garden that follows on from similar places in Croydon and Jumeriah. So if you’re pressed for time and in the mood for something suitably Levantine or Tunisian or Turkish, then you’ll do well to hit this place.
First off, the hommous has a lovely granular texture. Grills and Dolma are nice but the Shakshuka really hits the spot.
Unlike the person getting ready for a walk of shame or the grey doner kebab challenging you to have it for breakfast, you won’t regret it.
We were one of the last 2 orders yesterday, very busy in the Hatch due to the eat out scheme, did take quite long for food prep because of the sheer amount of customers, however I cant fault them for this. Food was really good, staff were really nice, I would definitely come back. Thank you, we shouldve thanked you at the kitchen but i had to rush to get my train.
