What can I say exactly except I was blown away here. I was recommended this place by a friend and it didn't disappoint. The seekh kebabs were juicy, the masala fish was chunky and very well seasoned but the crown of the table that night was the karahi ghosht.
I don't know what they put in it but it was beyond delicious. It had a buttery texture and the meat fell off the bone. The tandoori nan were fantastic too.
I would definitely return here!
Exceptional taste. For the 30 minutes I was there and eating the food, I didn't miss Pakistan at all. What a delicious Lamb boneless Karahi & Chargha! If the chef was a female, I would have offered to marry her just so I could have this food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Grateful to the owners of Daawat restaurant for offering pure desi taste in England. Wish they can open a branch near Manchester University so I can eat even more often.
Ps: apologies for the bad pics, my focus was on enjoying the desi food.
This is a family run business and I would highly recommend supporting them because of their tasty hygienic food.
We had their lamb karhai with garlic naan and the meat was very tender and the naans were perfect.
The Bihari boti could be improved though as the texture was not right.
Would still recommend.
