I've been going to these people for around twelve years now - they used to run Golden City but moved a few hundred yards and changed the business' name. Consistently excellent food: the Kung Po chicken is my favourite and the starters are great - no under-filled spring rolls here, the prawn toast isn't just fried bread and the spare ribs are more... solid, not dripping with fat. Only ever found one other Chinese takeaway so far even approaching their quality and consistency - and I have tried many others. Prices are average to low as well, especially for what you get with the mixed starters. It's a shame they aren't on a certain well-known internet takeaway site to allow me to pay by card! Haven't been to the newer place (I just order for delivery now) so only a "good" rating for the decor.

Under new management. They taught the new owners before they left. It's not the same though and the meat portions are a lot less. I will update if it gets better. Still the best in Levenshulme.

Never any complaints about the food from Oriental City. It's delicious and freshly cooked to order. It's worth a short wait for a satisfying meal.
