The Spa Urban Oasis at Debenhams Manchester is brilliant I cannot praise the staff enough. 7 years ago my son and daughter- in- law bought me a gift voucher for a massage at the spa in Debenhams after I had been diagnosed with a permanent injury to my upper back which means I have a trapped nerve which leaves me in agony with muscle spasms. After having a back, neck and shoulder massage I couldn't believe what a difference it made to me so I booked in again for two weeks later and it helped me so much that I was able to cut down on my painkillers. I've been going every 2 to 3 weeks ever since, my doctors at hospital and my GP couldn't believe how well I am doing and recommended I keep it up, so obviously I did and still do still have a massage to un-trap the nerves every 2-3 weeks and the therapist's do a fantastic job. I can highly recommend it wether you have a problem or you just want to treat yourself, it's a lovely calming place, definitely worth a visit.
Afterwards you can shop or have a coffee in the Debenhams store.
Argyle on tour!....long trip from Plymouth on the train to watch Argyle play at Salford for the first time.....too early for a pint so sought some peace and tranquility over an earl grey herbal tea and a fruit scone with jam and.....heaven forbid....whipped cream!! They are not lucky like us Devonshire boys. Still, it was passable and it was clean, good service and very calm after 5hrs on a train....off for a pint now!!
Good place for all brand of make-up, perfume , nice clothing for men, women and children. It's a nice place to shop at.
