This coffee shop inside Waterstones is a true hidden gem in Manchester City centre. The staff are attentive, their coffee is creamy and delicious. Their selection of cakes is also great and the environment is lovely and quiet. Keep up the good work! 🫶🏻
I came here for coffee and cake with my mum and this is a really nice cafe inside the bookshop. There was only one person at the counter so service was slow, but the coffee tasted good, they have a soya milk option as well. My mum had cappuccino cake which she said was divine. Plenty of seats and some nice wall classic book themed wall decor like Sherlock Holmes etc.
They have a few books of the month which net you a free drink with purchase. It is quiet, so great for working too, there were a lot of people with laptops there.
Overall a nice gem of a coffee shop inside a book store.
Nice cafe on the second floor of Waterstones.
Service is friendly, although a little slow. Due to little space on the counter for serving drinks and food and the speed of the service, it means that the people behind in the queue will end up leaning over your cakes to reach the card reader, which is a little off-putting and potentially unhygienic.
