I wanted to go to this place for a long time and it didn't disappoint. The food is tasty and price is reasonable. Ambience is also that of a typical British pub. Quite spacious as well!
Talk of value for money, this place rules my world. The whole of Curry mile generally serves a veg burger meal at £4. Add 40 p more and find yourself at Ford Madox. The added 40p escalates you to fresher food, larger servings, ambience of a good pub and service speed of a takeaway. I just love this place.
You'd be lucky to find a place to sit if Man City is playing.

Our only go-to place when we cant think of anywhere else, mainly because its just across the street and requires the least of efforts even during those lazy days!
Love their pitchers, and the fact that we can spend hours here; almost tried all the cocktails on their menu.
The food is good too, but I kind of stick to their burger meals only, they are really filling, love the Tennessee burger and the Original gourmet chicken burger. Food is always fresh and the service is prompt.
Ambience is much like any British pub, and its more or less crowded during weekends and match days.
I don't know how, but they match McDonalds in terms of speed of service for food. Somehow It's still fresh and hot as well. Good variety,but the portions of the salads could be a little more
I hadn’t been in here for breakfast before so I thought I would give it a try as I was in Manchester this morning.
I was very happy to see the traditional English pub decor and ambience of the place.
There was plenty of seating. There were some televisions with the news on and there were a few happy families seated enjoying their meal.
There were plenty of available tables to choose from and they were clean.
I ordered regular breakfast which was only £4.99 and a refillable coffee for £1.50 which is a bargain compared to the high street coffee shops and frankly just as nice. Also I had two refills.
The waiting staff were very friendly and my food arrived within 10 minutes.
A perfect place for a breakfast if you’re in the area.

Love the breakfast deal. Absolute steal, my vegetarian breakfast set came in enormous portion and for less than £4 without sacrificing the quality too. It was served warm. You order and pay online on their app and they'll bring your food to the table. Very convenient and the service was fast.

Nowhere near as busy as the city centre pubs, but this may suit some folk.
I had fish chips and garden peas with a strong Brewdog ale for £10.41.

This Wetherspoon pub is just like any other in the franchise, offering the same familiar experience. The main difference is that this location might be slightly smaller than usual. However, what sets this place apart is the fantastic prices. I was able to enjoy a full English breakfast for an incredible £2.99, and I doubt anyone can beat that value. If you're looking for a budget-friendly meal without compromising on taste, this Wetherspoon pub is a great choice. The wide selection of food and drinks at such affordable prices make it a go-to spot for a satisfying meal.
Used to be my local ,don't get there so often these days. Nice beer by 7 Brothers Throw away IPA. Treat for my daughter she loves the chicken wings. We got our wings and were supposed to be 8 each but we only got 5 each which was a bit odd. Great FOH resolved the issue. Cookies dough sandwich to follow , takes calories to another level. Efficient ordering on the app as ever. Will be back.
