Our waiter, Hamza, was tremendous. Very attentive and prompt. He went above the call of duty showing his concern for my wife, who wasn’t feeling well.
Our meals were very good. Superfood salad with chicken, a curry rice with chicken, and a hearty and finely spiced tomato basil soup. The Eton Mess dessert was delicious.
Stayed at the DoubleTree the night before a morning flight so was essentially a captive audience for Mason's. Whilst the service was a little hit-and-miss ( purely down to there not being enough waiters not the waiters' efficiency or abilities ) and the prices slightly high ( as you may expect in a monopolised situation ), the quality of food was top drawer. In particular, the Sri Lankan cod was magnificent, better than most of the meals we ended up with on holiday !
