Came here on a weekend. I was craving for a chippy. So we went here. The waiting time was roughly 2-3 minutes. We were seated outside ( a bar-like table and chair). The view is good, you can see the sea, and also the adjacent restaurant as well. We waited for around 30 minutes for our food to be served (but that was normal since it was really busy at that time).
The food came. Fish and chips. The fish was good, it was soft and the coating is crispy- it did not have the aftertaste of oil compared to some chippy I have tried. The garden peas have a bit of flavour(mint) and the chips were crispy and really tasty and they have a homemade tartar sauce as well, but overall food is great.
I gave 4 because I know there are still room for improvement.
The staff were accommodating as well despite all the busyness.
Very tasty lunch! I tried the vegan fish and chips made from banana blossom. It was very tasty, I loved the homemade tartar sauce and the peas had a great flavour. The vegan fish had a lovely crisp batter. My mom tried the vegan salad bowl with tempeh which was very tasty also. Great to see a few vegan options on the menu! Will definitely visit again.
Had the most delicious haddock and fries in the crispiest possible batter. Perfect views and ambience from the terrace overlooking the sea. Great staff. Will definitely come back.
