Popped in for lunch today as we have not been for a while and again was not disappointed. Holly is a great host very friendly and lovely to chat too. The food is excellent I had the Steak and Kidney Pie and my wife had Lasagne, the pie was exactly what you would want light homemade tasty pastry with big chunks of Steak and plenty of kidney which I personally love, you can have this with chips and salad or fresh vegetables, you choose as both are good. My wife had a Lasagne she said was very tasty served with a large garlic baguette and not 2 wafer thin slices of bread that most establishments offer it also came with a very large side salad. Even though the meals are substantial we couldn't resist one of there excellent puddings especially as my fave was back on the menu a brownie and flapjack stack with a thick chocolate and caramel sauce served with icecream a chocolate lovers dream! The Wife had a brandy snap basket served with fresh fruit and icecream she doesn't normally have this type of dessert and said it was one of the nicest puddings she has had for a very long time. This little gem of a place is definitely worth a drive out to you will not be disappointed,we will definitely be returning.

Back again for the tastiest carrots on the Island, the best chicken dinner, and I don't know what it is about the brandy snap basket (maybe the fresh raspberry juice or the incredible strawberry ice cream - is that home made?). Every time a memorable dinner. And Meister Pils too, I wanted Six more but was driving.

Amazing you don't get people like the owners of this pub they make you fell so welcom and friendly. Amazing food would come back when ever im back in Aby.
