A nice little cafe right next to the entrance of Beacon Hill Park, if you enter through the lower car park. There are a few seats inside and some on the porch area, but we really enjoyed sitting on the benches on the grass.
It was a great day so it was pretty good to sit in the great outdoors as close to nature as we can while enjoying our lunch
First time here as we were meeting our daughter after starting Loughborough Uni this year, and she wanted to see our dogs. Really convenient place to meet up, give the dogs a run, they loved it, and have some lunch at the cafe. It was a lovely sunny day, so we sat outside to hVe lunch.
There was a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks, toasted sandwiches, baked potatoes etc. I must admit that the cost did take me aback somewhat. There were four of us, and we had 4 x taosted sandwiches and 4 x drinks, and it came to just shy of £50!
The food was nice, but £9 for a toasted sandwich, I thought was a bit much. It was a good job it was nice and sunny and the staff were really friendly. I might stop off at M&S next time!! :)
Had lunch at the cafe on a Saturday it was very busy. We had tuna sandwiches with side salad and nacho crisps. Also had a slice of cake. The food was tasty, fresh and well presented.
