Had a fantastic meal last night to celebrate a birthday! Great food, generous portions, friendly staff, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Menu selection was excellent with some different options....made it difficult to choose! I had the Gyros with chicken but also tried the halloumi - delicious......followed by Chocolate Pie served with Salted Caramel Ice Cream....also delicious! The Star is literally 5 minutes down the road from me (15/20 if you walk) so we will definitely be visiting again very soon. Highly recommended 👌

We had a brilliant meal in the star and the wonderful owner sat and discussed Ragdale hall with us which was our spa weekend away we were on our way to. She was so lovely and the food was brilliant too. Thank you so much would definitely recommend x

Had a meal with my partner for a work leaving do, brilliant service. The garden was lovely for a drink before hand and the inside was even better. Great area to seat 10 for a meal and the menu was great and varied. Had some amazing fish and chips with garden peas, the chips were lovely and homemade and the fish was enormous! Would defo recommend.
