This is a superb chip shop, with a proud heritage serving the local community and visitors to Looe for decades. Excellent fish & chips freshly cooked, plus a good desert menu too. Locally sourced fish on the menu. Cosy eating in restaurant with character, friendly and helpful staff and service. Highly recommended and is a must on our visits to Looe.

The best fish and chips for miles! After struggling to find a fish and chip shop in the area we stumbled upon Dave's Diner and it turns out my Grandad has been coming here for many years and has never been disappointed! Fish was fresh and the fish cake was delicious, very good price for Looe, I'll definitely be coming back on my next visit!

Dave’s Diner was recommended by a local. It was sooooo good. The batter was crispy and fresh. You could totally taste the good quality of the fish. We ordered both Hake and Cod. Both were good but I preferred the Hake! It had more flavour. We had the Fish and Chips sitting at the harbour with an amazing view... nothing can beat this!
