Not Sal n Vinnies anymore. Pitch and Chips I think. Was bit worried when another customer returned his sausage because it was cold. However the chips were hot and not at all greasy. The batter on the sausages looked weird but I was assured it tasted much better than it looked. My jumbo was hot and tasty. Will go back. Would have given 5 stars but nowhere near enough salt on the chips.
We have family nearby and this is by far the best place to get fish and chips in the area.
Last visited on a horrible wet evening, placed our order and it was suggested we sit in the car until the food was cooked. A thumbs up indicated all done, freshly cooked and it was delicious. Prices are very reasonable and there is a good selection of alternatives if required. Check opening times during the low season but well worth a visit.
What wonderful people that run this chip cart, we were looking for some fish and chips and stumbled over this one, and lucky we did, the prices were very reasonable, and the portion sizes were very good too.
The chips were nicely fried, not too wet and soggy, and not too crispy, and the sausage that I ate was of a very good quality. would recommend to anyone staying at Tencreek or nearby in Looe, especially as chip-shops seem hard to find in a seaside town
