Been to all of the Running Fox places now and the food and service here is up to their usual high standards. This particular venue is different in that it’s large, spacious and has an outdoors feel about it!! Probably due to the decor and large windows. There are picnic tables on the lawn outside making it a pleasant experience on a warm sunny day. Well worth a visit if in the area. I will definitely be going again.

Friendly large cafe with extensive fresh cake selection and huge loaded sandwiches and melts. Prompt friendly service too. Good facilities for babies (high chairs, large baby changing, staff engaged nicely with the little one) and dogs (dog menu). On Wednesdays they do a deal of three cakes to takeaway for £8. Toilets had women’s hygiene and sanitary products freely available.

This is the 2nd Running Fox café I've visited and it didn't disappoint. Dog friendly throughout so we could take our dog. The interior is lovely with gifts dotted about the whole place. Friendly serving staff and the food was delicious. We chose a sharing Foxy Sarnie, chicken mayo with crisps, coleslaw (homemade) and a salad. Added a portion of potato wedges. A very generous portion of wedges and the Sarnie was 'proper' doorstop. Yum 😋 This was washed down with 2 cups of tea for me and a latte and flat white for my hubby. Needless to say we were stuffed but as this was a treat we took a piece of cheesecake and a piece of foxy snicker crunch home. There is some outdoor seating too and although it was nice enough to sit outside, we chose to go in. I would definitely recommend you book any Running Fox café as they do get very busy and may not have room for you.
