Since the refurb this lovely little pub has been given a new lease of life whilst keeping the the feel and the history of the Sun Inn and the battle of marston Moor. Really friendly and welcoming landlord and landlady, plus the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced, so good we went back for Sunday dinner the same week (certainly weren't disappointed once again) will be back frequently I'm sure! So nice that you can stand at the bar without feeling uncomfortable from people on the dirty old bench glaring at you!

Just had lunch at this little Gem of a country pub. Meals lovely & very reasonable. Beer only £2 a pint who could ask for anything more. The Landlord & Landlady made you feel at home .A most enjoyable lunch time .👍

Really nice refurbished pub with a great selection of local beers and lagers on tap. Warm welcome from the landlord. Get there soon to enjoy the brand new furniture smell!
