Honestly if you want to feel the flavour of Irland, this is the pub to go to if you are in the area. Just a few minutes walk if you are able bodied from Tower Hill station and not far from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. This really is an Irish ☘️ pub the walls are covered with everything Irish and Guineas is everywhere. It just feels really homely. I walked in today and people were playing darts and drinking in a lovely calm atmosphere. Really lovely atmosphere. It feels like this place has been here forever but no, it’s only been here for just over a year. This is not a food pub. So if you want a drink than this is the place. Enjoy

Been meaning to visit here for a while after work and glad I did. Absolute cream the Guinness, nice vibe and great service. Up there with the Sheephaven Bay for me

🚇 Tower Hill 🍺 £6.00 Guinness ❤️ A new Irish pub in The City. . Feeney’s Irish pub is located at the bottom of an office building at the end of Mark Lane on the edge of The City of London. The nearest tube is Tower Hill which is just around the corner. . It’s always great to see a new pub come to life on the London pub landscape. This pub opened up in October last year and is a rare breed as you don’t see many Irish pubs within the old city walls. . This is a one bar pub which is simply decorated and modern in appearance. There is a good size servery across the back of the bar, above the back bar are chalkboards displaying spirits available with green led lit optic shelves below. On the right of the bar are a few poser tables and oak barrels to gather around and place your drinks on. On the left is a low level seating area for more meaningful conversations. As this is an Irish pub, the Guv’nors County flag took pride of place on the wall, alongside is a Hurley stick and some other items to celebrate the emerald isle. There is a projector screen for sports and a dartboard if you fancied a game of arrows. . The beer line up was impressive and included premium continental lagers, Irish ales and of course Guinness. Looking around the bar it was clear to see the Guinness was popular so I thought I’d try one myself, my pint was superb and really well kept. If you like a drop of whiskey there is a good selection of malts to wet your whistle. . I visited early evening on a Friday and the pub was buzzing with an afterwork crowd in attendance. The Guvnor was a larger than life character and was having the craic with punters at the bar. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here which felt welcoming and upbeat. . Since the closure of the iconic Tipperary pub in Fleet Street, The City has not had an Irish pub for some time. @feeneysirishpub has all the credentials for a great Irish pub experience, great Guinness, great atmosphere and a top Guv’nor at the helm. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 18.11.22
