It looks so warm and inviting from the outside and the menu is seasonal and changes often, so we booked and boy, we were not disappointed. Service was on point, the menu understated and minimal, the focus is very much on the seasonal fresh ingredients which have been allowed to sing by the French chef. Be warned, everything is extremely rich and decadent, don't come on a diet but they do cater to every dietary requirement, including non-dairy or vegan, so don't sweat it. Everything from the bread to the Panisse to muscly mussels to the rack of lamb, it was all perfectly balanced and seasoned to perfection. There are a few magic touches but the dishes are clean, elegant and unfussy, it really is all about the ingredients and the little garnishes that bring those ingredients to life. The wines are a touch on the pricey side for what you're actually getting but if you're a fan of natural wines, you're unlikely to be disappointed. The cocktails, beers and digestifs were on point and there was a good selection of sweet wines too. I would probably want a few more wines by the glass but what they did have was more than adequate. The vibe is as welcoming and warm as it looks and the service is Michelin level while remaining friendly and casual. Overall, the food is undoubtedly Michelin star level while remaining relaxed and uncomplicated. Looking forward to coming back and definitely in the Autumn for those jerusalem artichokes đ.
We came to celebrate a birthday. What a amazing evening, food and service was above and beyond.
We chose 3course menu, we found it to be a bargain given the quality of food. For those T complaining about price your have no clue of cost since took us out of the EU.
For anyone wanting an exceptional meat, reasonable priced. Please book
Stunning food in a cosy relaxed atmosphere. Every dish is prepared with great care and a wonderful combination of flavours. The homemade sourdough bread is just fabulous. Totally recommend this hidden gem.
