Passing by with friends, we accidentally went in to eat something and the service and the place were very good. the prices were not bad, the ramen was good but not spectacular, I think we liked the one with mushrooms and pak choi the best. Another advantage is that the dishes were served quickly. It is okay
Great food, outstanding service, genuine staff, been there few times and never left the restaurant disappointed.
Good Value for money.
Thanks to Giovanni and his team that made our evening so pleasant.
I will definitely comeback
Strongly recommend their braised pork
This is definitely not the most charming Tonkotsu (try the Haggerston or Battersea branches, which are both under railway arches), but it is passable. The best thing about the Kentish Town branch is probably the service, which is super friendly, fast and attentive. I especially like the window seating, so you can watch the world go by.
A single bowl of ramen plus a soft drink won’t see much change from £20, which is at least double and often triple what you would pay for the same in supposedly “expensive” Japan… just saying.
On the plus side Tonkotsu make their own noodles, on the negative they don’t actually put that much in your bowl. Thankfully the broth is rich and reasonably tasty.
